PTC will discontinue
selling the Single User Upgrade part numbers effective FY13 Q3. This is due
to several developments in the Mathcad business:
1. The last Single
User product sold was for Mathcad 14.0 in June, 2010. The population of
Single Users who have not yet upgraded to at least Mathcad 15.0 Individual
has become very small.
2. The burden of
paperwork on both resellers and customers, in comparison to total revenue,
has become disproportionate.
All Single Users wanting to move to Mathcad 15.0 - Prime
2.0 will need to purchase a new license.
